My Soap and Glory top 5 favourites

Soap and glory has been the one of my favourite brands for years and I've tried a fair share of there products. There's such a huge selection of there products these days it can be quite over welming to choose from, so I thought I would write this post and give you a heads up on which soap and glory products I like the most.

Peaches and clean face wash - I love this face wash it melts away all my makeup and leaves my face feeling so soft and clean. I find this face wash so moisturising unlike many face washes which have left my face feeling tight. The scent of peaches of clean is lovely so fresh and fruity. This face wash was part of my skin care routine for ages until quite recently and I would happily use it again I just fancied a change.

Sugar crush whipped body cream - this moisturiser is brilliant when your skin is feeling dehydrated it's so rich and moisturising, despite being a rich moisturiser it sinks it quite quickly and doesn't leave you sticky. The scent of sugar crush is quite unusual, it's citrusy and I personally think a bit like marmite you'll either love it or hate it. I personally love it, sweet scents are nice but I love refreshing sharper scents too. A little goes a long way with this moisturiser so even though it's a bit more expensive than your average body cream it really does last you.

Scrub your nose in it - when I have a pamper night I love a face mask or scrub and this is brilliant as its a two in one. It's great at reducing pores, blackheads and makes a noticeable difference after just one treatment. Overall brilliant scrub that does the job but isn't to harsh on the skin.

Hand food - in the winter I really suffer with dry cracked hands and find hand food is amazing at rescuing them. It's sinks it quickly which is brilliant for working hands and leaves them moisturised for hours. You can also purchase a travel sized version which is great for your handbag or to trial out.

Heel genius- when you get your sandals out and realise your feet need some tlc heel genius is the foot cream to go for. I tend to apply this in the evening, put cotton socks over the top and leave them until the morning then I wake up to soft supple feet. The scent of heel genius is minty and leaves your feet feeling lovely and fresh.

Soap and glory continue to bring out amazing products and I can't wait try out more!

Summer must haves!

It's getting towards the summer season in the uk that we've all been waiting for! As it gets sunnier and hotter I like to change up my beauty products a bit and I thought I'd share with you my must have products for the summer.

Foundation with spf - I'm rather pale, I  burn easily and I hate normal sun cream or my face it just makes my face feel greasy. Instead of cream I use Rimmel London's 25 hour foundation it gives an amazing Matt coverage, it's long lasting and protects your skin.

Vaseline - I know this is is a very basic product but the sun tends to dry out my lips and Vaseline really helps to restore the moisture they have lost.

Dove summer sun- when you get your dresses and shorts out the pasty legs have to go! Dove summer sun gives a lovely natural glow after a few applications. It's great because its buildable you could have a natural glow from 1 or 2 applications perhaps for an  event or you could apply daily religiously for a bronzed deeper tan.

well those are a few products that I find are must haves in the summer! What are yours?

Bargain beauty buys!

This post is going to be all about my favourite budget beauty buys, I'm always on the hunt for cheap hidden treasures! Why pay more than you have to?

The first product I've been loving is the simple's moisturising face wash, this face wash leaves my skin feeling moisturised, refreshed and removes even waterproof makeup .I love that simple products are so natural and not harsh on the skin. The simple face wash Retails at around £2 and is quite often on offer for cheaper! Such a bargain and really does what is saids on the tube!

The next budget product is MUA's setting powder, it only costs a pound and Since I've used it I've never had so many compliments on my makeup! It's sets my makeup beautifully and gives a flawless finish. It's honestly as good as the high end powders I've used!

I couldn't not mention my all time favourite concealer, collections lasting perfection concealer, it's amazing! It great for blemishes, dark circles and unlike many concealer it doesn't crease! It's better than many high end concealers I've tried and at around £3.99 it's a bargain!

The last product I'm going to mention is the dove intensive repair shampoo and conditioner. I have thick, dry and curly hair and I struggle to tame it! The dove shampoo and conditioner are amazing for the price, they leave my hair soft and fizz free! I couldn't recommend it more. They retail at around £1.99 each and are better than ones I've payed £10.00 for!

Those are a few of my favourites I didn't want to bore you with too many! But if you'd like to see another post like this comment below!

Contouring!

I'm Sorry I haven't posted in a while! It's been a busy start to the year.

Contouring is really in fashion at the moment and everyone is giving it a go so I thought I'd share with you my techniques and the products I use to contour.

Contouring does differ depends on your face shape. I have an oval face and I contour on my cheek bones to define and make my cheek bones appear higher. I highlight down the middle of nose and above my cheek bones which leaves my skin looking bright and healthy.

You can contour to alter the appeance of certain parts of your face such as your nose, chin or forehead. Having an oval face I personally don't tend to.

The brush I use to contour is the real techniques sculpting brush and to highlight I use the real techniques setting brush.

The products I use to contour are the sleek face contour kit in the shade light 884 and Revolution vivid baked highlighter in the shade golden lights.

I personally really enjoy contouring and its part of my everyday makeup routine but I understand it's not for everyone.

December favorites!

December is always a pretty busy month with Christmas and new years. I'm just so sad its all over now. December is by far my favorite month of the year. Here are the things I've been loving this month.

Daisy by Marc Jacob - I absolutely love this perfume the scent is devine, its very floral and feminine. i love the bottle almost as much as i love the perfume its so beautiful with the daisy's on the lid. I know it's really about whats inside but the bottle looks gorgeous on my dressing table. I really want to try more from the daisy range. There quite pricey but the scent is long lasting so the bottle goes a long way.

Soap and Glory's Whipped clean shower butter - this shower gel smells lovely, it has a sweet vanilla scent which is strong but not over powering. I've never used a shower cream that is so moisturizing. It leaves my skin like silk. If your in a rush and don't get time to moisturize the whipped clean shower butter is almost like a two in one but i wouldn't recommend skipping moisturizing daily. It retails at around £7.00 which i think is good value seeing the bottle is large and lasts twice as long as cheaper shower gels.

Nivea shaving balm - I'd heard lots of rumors about how the Nivea shaving balm makes a brilliant primer and i couldn't resist to give it a try. The Nivea shaving balm contains glicerine which helps your foundation adhere to your face, its found in most high end primers. I found it made my skin feel so soft and my makeup defiantly lasted longer. Nivea shaving balm retails at around £5.00, its such a bargain considering primers can cost £20.00 or more.

Now for a few random favorites

Paperchase - For Christmas i got a beautiful note book which i'm using to write my blog ideas and a inspirational postcard which is so cute. Paperchase sell beautiful stationary which make lovely gifts or can be a treat for yourself. I'm just sucker for pretty things haha. Paperchase can be quite pricey but the products are such good quality it's worth paying the bit extra.

Yankee candle in clean cotton - I'm a massive fan of Yankee candles and clean cotton has got to be my favorite scent it smells so clean and fresh. I rediscovered my love for it when i got it brought for me for my birthday. I try to buy different scents but i always come back to clean cotton. I've tried a range of candles and yankee candles are far the best. Again yankee can be expensive but there's often offers and sales where you can pick up a bargain.

well those were my favorites of December what were yours?

Bourjois Paris - Rouge glamour gift set.

At the moment boots are doing a special offer, if you spend £15 or more you get the rouge glamour gift set for free. It's lovely as a gift or a nice treat for yourself.

The gift set contains smoky stories quad eyeshadow in the shade 06 upside brown, the volume glamour max holidays mascara in the colour ultra black, rouge edition velvet liquid lipstick in the shade hot pepper and so laque ultra shine nail polish in the colour rouge escarpin. Together these products cost over £25 such a bargain, specially if you were buying Bourjois Paris makeup anyway. The Healthy mix serum is my go to foundation so I stocked up on it and got the gift set for free.

This set is perfect for the festive season with glittery eyeshadow, red lipstick and red nail polish.

The mascara is one of the best mascaras I've ever used it makes my lashes look so long and dark. I would defiantly buy it again.

The eyeshadows goes on beautifully and on the box there's a guide on how to apply them which is handy if your quite sure.

The nail polish is a beautiful festive red and has a lovely shiny finish. I wouldn't say it's massively long lasting but I don't find my nail varnish lasts unless it's gelish.

The lipstick again is a beautiful festive colour but I wish it wasn't Matt. I just don't get on with Matt lispticks. I suffer with dry lips and Matt lispticks don't apply well to them. If you like Matt lispticks then don't be discouraged.

Overall I love this gift set. It's such good value for money. Bourjois Paris are sneaky I may have got it free this time but I will defiantly be repurchasing some of the products, products I would have never gone out to buy before.

November favourites

I'm gunna be sharing with you what I've loved this month, my hair and beauty favourites and a few random favourites too.

I've really been loving Jimmy's Choo's blossom perfume. The scent is beautiful and really long lasting. It has a sweet and floral scent and is quite similar to the original Jimmy Choo perfume that I also adore. Not only does the perfume smell Devine the bottle is so pretty, it graduates from
Dark to light pink and looks lovely on my dressing table.

Another favourite of mine is Paw Paw moisturising balm it's brilliant for dry hands and lips. I really suffer from dry lips in the winter and don't find anything other than paw paw works long term. I find it really restores moisture into my dry and cracked lips.

A makeup favourite of mine this month is Arbonne's lipstick in the colour copper. It's a brown coloured lipstick with a hint of glitter. I'm not usually a fan of glittery lipsticks but it's quite subtle and perfect for the festive season.

A couple of my random favourites this month have to be the app restaurant story 2. You basically run your own restaurant, it's a lot of fun and rather addictive. My other random
Favourite is adult colouring books, I've always loved colouring and I find it so therapeutic.
